Here is how my Monday is going...
The morning coffee has worn off...
The inbox is filling up…
And if I’m being honest…
That "New Year, New Me" energy from January 1st is already starting to flicker.
Usually, this is the part of the afternoon where I try to force it.
I look at "The List" (Lose 10 lbs, Double Revenue, Fix Everything 🤣) and I try to grind my way through the resistance using willpower.
But today, I tried a different experiment.
I realized that willpower is a terrible fuel source for Monday afternoons.
Curiosity is much better.
So, instead of staring at my goals (which highlight what I lack), I asked the AI to help me "Time Travel" to a moment where I had already won.
🧪 The Monday Experiment (Try This Now)
I want you to pause for 2 minutes. Don't check another email… Don't add to your to-do list.
Copy and paste this prompt into ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini. It acts as a "Journalist from the Future" to trick your brain out of striving and into having.
THE PROMPT: "Act as a Journalist from the future. The date is November 14, 2026. You are interviewing me because I have just had the best year of my life. Don't ask me about my goals. Ask me about my experience. Ask me how I woke up this morning, how my body feels, and what the vibe is like in my house. Interview me to uncover the success I have already achieved, and then help me summarize exactly what I did in 2026 to make it happen."🧠 Why This Works
We are using AI (and 100-year-old logic!) to solve a modern problem.
We usually try to force ourselves to change through pressure.
This prompt uses data to cheat (the good kind of cheating).
Your brain doesn't know the difference between a vivid visualization and reality.
Why not take advantage of that? 😁
When you answer the journalist's questions, you aren't "planning"—you are "remembering."
It gives you an experience of a future that feels less like a battle and more like a done deal.
🚧 Coming Wednesday: The Navigator Gem
I’m currently finalizing the full “Gemini Gem” version of this prompt to release this Wednesday.
This isn't just a prompt…
It's a full system that interviews you, checks your life balance (so you don't win at business but lose at home), and even generates a Google Calendar schedule to make the dream inevitable.
I am building it in public right now…
You can track the progress on the roadmap here:
Until then…
Thanks for being a part of the #TIYMOAI newsletter!
